Arsenal Midfielder, Thomas Partey makes full comeback to the squad ahead of FA Cup clash with Newcastle United.
Reports shows that the Midfielder suffered a serious thigh injury on December and since then have been out of action. But the good News is that the ‘Partey is now back to the squad and may likely future in the FA Cup against their rivals.
Speaking on Thomas Partey, the Club said:
“Thomas is now back in full training with the squad after recovering from an injury to his left thigh.
“Thomas will continue to work hard to establish match fitness after being out of action for a month. He will be assessed regarding his availability ahead of Saturday’s match.”
The Gunners will be welcoming Newcastle this Saturday Evening at the Emirates, where the two will be clashing for the third round in the FA CUP.
Arsenal Coach Mikel Arteta has been since expecting the return to squad of the midfielder and his now very happy. “Having Thomas back will be like having a whole new signing at Emirates Stadium.” Arteta said.
“We’ve been missing him. He brings something different to the team, he’s a player with an enormous talent, but as well someone that can transform the team the way we want,” Goal reports.
